sometimes i use the idea of "pulling an all nighter" as a coping mechanism for trying to get inspiration at the last minute. pretending to have my back against the wall to force that idea out. this mostly ends up being destructive and very rarely its worth it. it's currently 4:44am and i just drank 2 white monsters and made no progress on the project i'm working on. a walk outside would've been a lot better
