@erichustls True. Crazy how rare it is to focus on building our own life and how normal it is to just lease yourself to build for someone else instead. Kind of scary.

Your salary is not income. It's a lease. You lease your time to your employer for a fixed rate. When the lease expires (layoff, retirement, health crisis), the income stops. Building has never been more important.

All of the recent attacks against me are false and obviously coordinated. In the past few weeks I have been attacked hard by the ADL, CBC, Washington Post, Tucker Carlson, Laura Loomer, and now Bilzerian. They want to shut me down and disrupt the Groypers ahead of 2026 & 2028.

Don't rush. It will only slow you down. The magic is in the process. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. This is true in trading and business.

@DigitalNovaGrid Only backtested strategies are profitable long term. Gut feeling might get it right a few times but it will not be a reliable way to trade. We need data and proof for confidence in our system

@EspenDMojo Backtests vs gut is a bigger gap than most accept. I had to backtest 4 ranges before settling on the boring one for my DOGE bot. The "exciting" range felt right. The boring one made money.

If you're addicted to trading and make decisions based on dopamine, backtest more. It scratches the itch and gives you real data on your strategy. Two problems solved.

Exactly. My favorite setup is super mechanical with strict rules, no thinking required. I just get the alert and it's a clean yes/no based on the checklist. Zero room for negotiating with myself. The second one is mechanical too but leans more on context, so it takes a bit more discipline to not let that creep into over-analysis or impulsive trades. The cleaner the playbook (and the backtested data behind it), the easier it is to actually sit on your hands like you said.

@haasonline Exactly. The tension of waiting for a setup is one of the harder aspects of trading!

@EspenDMojo Dead right. Backtesting teaches you what your actual edge is vs. what feels good in the moment. The hard part is following the plan instead of chasing that dopamine hit. That's where most traders fail.
