Spiribirds are frankly the reason I don’t return to SunRise. It’s a concept that’s cool on paper but in reality is like a 4 minute time tax if you don’t wana risk loosing. maybe a bit less if your optimal

Spiribirds are extremely cool in concept, but annoying in reality. I understand why they exist, small maps and monsters always being visible means the game needs something to extend quest time. But overall, I look at them as a flawed yet unique approach to game balance.
