all jokes aside there are so many things an ai first social network can do better but one thing that i keep coming back to is moving away from “likes”. what if we had ai driven feedback loops for thinking, not clout instead? you don’t just get likes, you get: - insight score (was this novel?) - helpfulness score (did it shift understanding?) - discourse index (did it improve the convo?) this creates reputational incentives aligned w/ quality over virality. not just “how loud was it?” but “was it true, was it useful, was it new?” doesn’t quite hit the dopamine loops yet but this could be designed in a way that a like type behavior could mimic these elements.
