As I see the dotcom comparison holds on the yield metric, but breaks on one thing -> in 2000 the earnings were hoped for and never arrived. The bull case here is that $NVDA, $META, $MSFT are already generating the cash, and the market is pricing the next leg of it. Could still be wrong. But it's a different kind of expensive.
