@cometmbpkg The hard-limit, as far as I am aware, will be 10hz (as I *think* that's how fast synced paramaters refresh in VRC.) So, 10px / sec as the ceiling. A 48x48 image takes 3-4ish minutes to render.

@Ethyriel How deeply interesting. It seems it may be worth transferring mine to be particle-based as well. What's the highest refresh rate you've been able to get?

I got slightly distracted and ended up making this OSC-based thing allowing you to render an image in #VRChat using a single moving particle emitter Would this be something folks might be interested in? This is still a proof of concept, but it seems to work reasonably well

@cometmbpkg Just tested, and it should work with Quest as well! (Using the Mobile/Particles/Additive shader.

@Ethyriel YOOO!!! Is this quest compatible?? I made a very similar one using a shader! (aside from it skipping white pixels in this video for some reason?)

@jarilheni Yeah! The friend on the left (Crucible) has a heavily modified Z-dragon avatar, and it's a fantastic-looking edit. The overall proportions and scale detail are great!
