Looking to Handover the Reigns
Hi All,
I am looking for someone with a keen interest in Podcasting, Creating Content & a general enjoyment of this platform to takeover my baby - The Scots Abroad Podcast.
My work in Football is now at a stage where i dont have time to do Pods or even keep up to date with this page...was easier when it was just Bates, Gauld, Henderson & Jack Harper
Anyone with an interest in taking this over, please get in touch.
Thanks

Astronomers have discovered a "deep structure" buried on the moon. “Imagine taking a pile of metal five times larger than the Big Island of Hawaii and burying it underground” Most likely it’s from an asteroid, but whatever it is we should call it TMA-1. bit.ly/2XFzAGh

Is this the most famous Scotland result ever? Back in September 2007, Alex McLeish’s men turned up to Paris thinking of doing the impossible, getting the double win over the French in qualifying.
It wouldn’t be easy though with the likes of Anelka, Trezeguet, Ribery, Vieira, Malouda amongst other big names starting. Despite their star power they couldn’t get passed Craig Gordon in goals.
The hero of the night though was James McFadden, whose 30 yard strike beat Landreau and amazingly Scotland did eventually get the double over the French in qualifying and a first win in France since 1950!
Who made the trip to Paris? What are your memories of the game?

@footalyse I firmly believe refs and linesmen are now scared to make on field decisions, as they have a fall-back of VAR to step in and confirm/correct their decision, albeit the clowns behind VAR can’t even give the correct decision to the refs half of the time.

@footballontnt Will Still had led Reims to an 19-game unbeaten run in all competitions. At 30 years old, he’s the youngest manager in Europe’s top five leagues
Reims paid a £22,000 fine each time Still manages because he doesn’t have his UEFA Pro license…
