EULEP partners promote C-VET as valuable tool for continuous upskilling and reskilling and thus provide a fertile ground for the "EU Union of Skills" to materialize and in particular its "Regular upskilling and reskilling" component: eulep.eu

The EULEP Consortium met online on 11/12 for the final Steering Committee of 2024, discussing the European Learning Academy, the pilot with 400 registrants, and plans for training adaptation, VET campaigns, and sustainability.

During today’s Eurochambres #Skills Committee meeting, members discussed the influence of #AI on the future of #VET and work with @EU_Social. According to a recent @EulepEU survey, 86% of businesses consider that their employees need training on AI.

On Nov 8, we celebrated the wrap-up of the European Learning Academy! Partners & participants joined online to dive into the first evaluation results and share their ELA learning experiences. Cheers to a journey of growth, connection, and innovation!

We kicked off the European Learning Academy (ELA) on 8 October! Trainers will review AI, VR, and SI training materials on the EULEP platform. Participants have until 31 October to submit feedback, with a closing session on 8 November. Check the platform: elearning.eurochambres.eu

From Sept 17-19, #EULEP partners gathered in Riga to drive the project forward! The Monitoring Committee spotlighted key achievements, while the Steering Committee laid out exciting next steps—focusing on the European Learning Academy and upcoming trainings.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the European Learning Academy (ELA) as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Europe! 🌍 As part of the Erasmus+ co-funded project #EULEP, the ELA aims to equip #VET trainers with cutting-edge skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Social Innovation (SI). Through our innovative online platform, these trainers will undergo intensive training, gaining knowledge and expertise from leading professionals in the field. 👩‍🏫 What’s Happening? • Four trainers from Cyprus — Maria Evgeniou, Michalis Maimaris, Minas Kyriakou, and Monica Odysseos — will be trained to become master trainers. • These trainers will then "train the trainers," ensuring VET providers across Cyprus are fully prepared to teach the next generation of learners. • The training includes both synchronous live sessions with experts and self-paced learning, utilizing the advanced materials developed under the #EULEP project. 📚 Why It Matters? This initiative is a major step toward modernizing VET and ensuring our trainers are at the forefront of digital and social innovation. By investing in our trainers, we are empowering them to deliver high-quality, relevant education that meets the needs of today’s rapidly evolving job market. During the fourth Project Steering Committee Meeting on February 14, EULEP partners focused on the development of the training materials, which is key to a smooth completion of the subsequent stages of the project.

“Investing in skills, supporting SMEs & engaging workers are crucial to harness the opportunities of #AI” said our CEO @BenJButters, at the #EUSocialForum. Underlining @EulepEU project findings, he stressed the importance of soft & digital skills and #lifelonglearning.

The EULEP partners met in Toulon from 3 to 5 October to take stock of the project advancement, plan upcoming activities and get a firsthand insight into the application of AI and VR in business processes.
