A week ago in Brussels we brainstormed on how to increase the participation of small and medium cities in the new European Urban Policy. We are now exploring how @EureInterreg will bring improvement to our territories thanks to our Action Plans. You will soon be able to discover them on the website.

We exchanged on the latest policies and the main goals of the new European Bauhaus. An ambitious initiative to connect the #GreenDeal to our living space. A nice promise for better urban future. We also received positive energy from the case studies of urban project presented.

This morning we discussed #policies for #sustainable #environment in cities. We are pleased to see small and medium cities eager to make their voice heard. It is important to fully integrate them in the new European #Urban #Policy.

To close the day and our visit to #Riga, we are discovering the old town of Riga which is addressed by the Action Plan that will be developed by @rdpad in the framework of @EureInterreg.

The fourth visit takes us to Agenskalns market. It was lately renovated as an open and creative food hub. It opened again its doors less than a month ago! The objective is to promote healthy and inclusive communities in the district.
