. @BYDCompany delivered the most Chinese-brand BEV pure electric passenger cars across Western Europe during August, surpassing SAIC's MG brand for the first time, according to Schmidt Automotive Research's monthly European Electric Car Study data.

Chinese new passenger car brands saw their share of the W-European new BEV passenger car market fall to just 8.3% of the total regional BEV market during August, according to the latest research of the European Electric Car Study published by #SchmidtAutomotiveResearch each month

After nine months this year, 🇬🇧 is within 6,500 units of becoming 🇪🇺's largest BEV market, according to Schmidt Automotive Research using industry data. The introduction of the ZEV mandate has boosted UK BEV volumes. During the same time last year it trailed 🇩🇪 by 149K units.

@ChristianJog @volvocars Yeah, SEA 1 and SEA 2 are helping through commonality and purchasing costs. They also have licensed it to an outside party, a Polish EV start-up company. The intelligent cost-cutting exercises from the EX30, such as stripping out a great deal of wiring, speakers, etc., help!

@EuroEVReport @volvocars I assume a gross margin breakdown by Geely brands would be interesting (Volvo, Smart, Polestar, Zeekr, ...). Especially since Zeekr (X), Volvo (EX30) and Smart (#1) share some DNA. I assume this would give a hint in which direction Geely will try to develop their brands.
