$ABVX is worth what someone pays for it. If $LLY and $AZN can't meet Marc on price, is there more risk in the stock than we realize? Is BP undervaluing or is Marc underestimating risk?

@SizeInvestor @OncoRareVoice I was having exactly the same thoughts of $ABVX underestimating the risks. There are so many reasons why liquidity (especially for biotech M&A) could vanish from one day to the next for whatever external reasons that nobody can influence. It's a dangerous game they are playing.

@OncoRareVoice God I hope Marc's right. There is a universe of risks that are knowable, and there's a universe of unknowable risks. Let's thread this needle.

$ABVX As much as I hate to say it, Marc destroyed some serious value with his comments to CNBC. I get that he's trying to signal that we'll go-it-alone, but, in my opinion, he should have just held an earning calls where he could have made prepared remarks and developed a message other than "why hurry." Or he should have just remained quiet. I believe this selloff is all retail-driven and I'm not changing my position, but it doesn't mean I'm enjoying it.

@MitchMartan98 @YahuCapital There are so many micro- and macroeconomic factors over a year that nobody can influence. What if Soriot is no longer the CEO of AZN? What if a major war further escalates? There's so many things that can lead to liquidity drying up, especially for biotech M&A

$ABVX alleged CCO hiring on Monday, honestly if I was Marc i’d do the exact same thing. He’s been consistent in his rhetoric, it’s business as usual, prepare for commercial launch and if big pharma comes knocking you can listen to what they have to say. Longs should be happy theres a capable CEO who knows how to use leverage to extract the highest bidder and ultimately create the most amount of shareholder value. I’ll admit, a quick buyout premium of 80-100% is always nice and gratifying. BUT is it really so bad to wait an extra 6-10 months -> get through maintenance data and now perhaps have a $250-$300 buyout vs $198-205? Doesn’t seem so bad, especially in this market. Stay patient.

@YahuCapital @unemon1 Exactly my thoughts, it's just that the wording could be misinterpreted. If there's any kind of agreement with a potential buyer, they would have to disclose immediately.

I believe, I could be wrong tho, that they’re legally required to announce once a formal agreement has been signed with the buyer. The agreement would entail subject to french gov approval. Then they would need to announce this in a press release asap. I think this is just a misinterpretation of barclays

A few folks are making a bet regarding $ABVX deal on Monday because of the news story from La Lettre. I'm not sure if this story is true or not, but even if they were in exclusive negotiations (expiring Monday) with AZN it doesn't mean a deal is coming on Monday, it could be any day. Every piece of information we have suggests they are discussing a BO, this could come before or after maintenance. I'll use any weakness to add to shares, as well as selling calls and puts to keep the income flowing.

@akshay_gos31635 If OI increased it does not mean that these were bought. It would increase the same when these were sold to open a position. Yes, I tend to say it's more likely in this case that these were bought, but there is no way to tell for sure. OI just tells us that this is a new position

$ABVX Interesting question popped as I tried to get ready for Mon AM: When was the last earnings conference call/webcast held to discuss financial results? A: None last year. No record on their website re a presentation, transcript, Q&A, etc. Currently there's no conf call scheduled for Monday AM BMO. Anyone else find that odd? I do.
