According to you, the question of whether or not there are "facts themselves" is irrelevant, and it is too much to analyze it, so let's go and talk about men and women. According to me, the former question is relevant and the latter question of whether an object is a man or a woman is irrelevant. But, the irrelevancy of the latter question is only revealed if you sufficiently investigate the former question. What is a "man" and what is a "woman"? These are categories that persist in the imagination and in the learnings and teachings and in the memories of particular objects. The objects also teach and learn and memorize that these categories with their properties are features of so-called "reality". Furthermore, according to the objects memorizing the identities of man and woman, there is some kind of essential or fundamental feature of men and women. It is not a network of features, but there is only one essential feature. What is that essential feature? The essential feature is the relative size of the gametes it produces. If the object produces large(r) gametes, it is a woman, if the object produces small(er) gametes, then it is a man. To give an example of how irrelevant this categorical scheme is to me, think about the following example: Think about an unusual hypothetical object that is born. After puberty it is shaped identical to a woman. It visually reflects light and produces shadows to give the impression of secondary sexual characteristics usually associated with women. Outside of its body it has a vulva that is shaped identically to what you would usually think of as a woman's vulva. It has a vagina which can be penetrated by a penis. The vagina is identical to what we would usually consider to be a woman's vagina. But here is the difference: Beyond the cervix instead of having a uterus and fallopian tubes and ovaries, it instead has a functioning vas deferens and testicles. This object obtains sexual pleasure through vaginal and clitoral stimulation. When it ejaculates, it ejaculates sperm through its vagina. That sperm, if it enters a woman's vagina is capable of fertilizing the woman's ovum. As for social considerations surrounding this object. It dresses like a woman, it is treated by a society as a woman is treated, it plays woman's sports, it goes to woman's bathrooms. It has non-reproductive sex with men or maybe it has reproductive sex with women. Is that object a man or a woman? The answer is that it is a man. Here is my question: So what? Who cares? Am I denying that it is a man? What would be the point of that denial? It's just a made up category with made up rules. You are conflating "taxonomy" with taxonomical rules that are invented by humans with some kind of notion in your head about "fundamental reality". But, this notion of "fundamental reality" is itself a taxonomical category in your head.
