🇸🇮 BREAKING: Slovenia's newly elected right-wing Prime Minister, Janez Janša, removed the Palestinian flag from the government building immediately after he assumed power. The Palestinian flag was taken down roughly 20 minutes after his new right-wing government was confirmed by parliament. Their new Prime Minister, @JJansaSDS, is a close ally of Donald Trump and a strong supporter of Israel. He used this swift move to signal a total reversal of Slovenia's foreign policy. The Palestinian flag had been flying on the government facade for two years and was originally raised under former left-wing Prime Minister Robert Golob, who recognized Palestinian statehood. Now the Slovenian government building only flies the flags of Slovenia, Ukraine, and the European Union.
