Like Alastor and Vox are both untrustworthy traumatized ppl with unhealthy coping mechanisms and warped views on relationships. I don’t think taking either of their recollections of their past friendship as gospel is a good idea.

(2/2) That’s not to say Alastor’s perspective isn’t valid or necessary, I definitely think it could give us some insight on why he reacted to Vox’s offer so strongly, but I don’t get this notion that Alastor’s truth is the objective truth.

(1/2) I’ve expressed before that I empathize with Alastor a little more than I do Vox in their overall dynamic, but I will say it makes me giggle when I see ppl say “We need Alastor to tell us what really happened” as if Alastor wouldn’t also be an unreliable narrator.
