🌱 Today I successfully defended my #PhD which explored the application of #metabolomics for Western Australian #seagrass performance assessment! 🌱 🌱 WA's cost is home to 40% of the world's seagrass species yet we still need to learn more about what makes them happy or sad! 🌱

Fantastic news to wake up to. @RyanCarterECU a @WildlifeLab masters student got his first ever paper accepted - and in an excellent journal. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the success of our students. Watch this space for future details on a sad but important study.

What am I? 🤔🤔 Please help Twitter-Land. These funny little things were found washed up on the shore of the Wilson Inlet by a resident (by the bucket load!). I’m stumped. Did it come from the Inlet? Did it wash in from the catchment? If you have any ideas, please share!

150 camera traps now deployed across three islands in the Houtman Abrolhos archipelago (North Island, East Wallabi Island & West Wallabi Island) in the search for the endangered Abrolhos Painted Button-quail!
