😂😂😂 This is the positive reality of Premier League youngsters. Dowman will take his GCSEs this year and he’s started games for Arsenal already. To put that in a Nigerian context, it’s like being in SS3 and set to write WAEC, and you’re playing for Arsenal. Last year, Myles Lewis Skelly won the Scholar of the Year and Murisa broke Saka’s record for the best results at the GCSEs. The Premier League now pays greater attention to young players’ academic development. You have to do well in school while you also train at the club. They even obtain internship positions for some players and some of them sign scholarships to higher institutions as part of their contracts. For example, Salmon can say he wants to study at say, London School of Economics and wants to be on scholarship as part of his contract. It’s a very good way of protecting the future of many academy youngsters who won’t progress in professional football. So, Salmon and Dowman may go to the training ground next week in their school uniforms😂
