If the movie was stripped of the title, “Resident Evil” and changed to something like “Outbreak” it would make much more sense to me. I’m sure the movie will be good, but it will not be a good Resident Evil movie. (6/6)

If you’re going to create a story that exists in an already developed world, you have to adhere to the facts. You can’t just slap an umbrella logo randomly and think that makes it Resident Evil. This is just another zombie movie with my beloved franchise’s name being used. (5/??)

So many people are missing the point with the Zach Creggers Resident Evil film. The issue isn’t that the story isn’t using characters from the original games. We saw the franchise have success with the Ethan Winters saga, which were essentially their own one-off stories. (1/???)
