Stay alert! Severe weather is possible today. The main threat is flooding, but some storms could produce small hail. Damaging wind threat and perhaps a brief tornado threat is to the south of DFW. #NBCDFWWeather

Many ingredients in place to support severe weather later today. The timing favorable for storms is between 11a-4pm for DFW. (Most will likely be between 2-4pm). Large hail is the biggest concern, but a tornado or two can't be ruled out. Stay alert. THURSDAY --> #NBCDFWWeather
