@spencer_yablon @JoePompliano Not bad Spencer - but cap it at maybe 4. Otherwise could be abused on insignificant plays that are tough calls. Agree current NBA system allowing just one isn’t ideal

@JoePompliano Unlimited coach challenges until you get one wrong. If the coach challenge is upheld, you get another challenge. The goal is to get calls right. If refs get them wrong and the coach continues to accurately challenge, they should keep that right.

Teams have cap space, owners are billionaires, unless there’s a better max free agent available for a team you can fault them for spending money against the cap. People complain about what Tobias is getting paid but after Butler left he was the option

James Harden is still a very useful basketball player. He’s one of the league’s best playmakers and still can catch fire at times However inking him to a $200 million contract demands he produces at a level that I don’t think he’s capable of regularly filling

@Evan_Britton @JoshReynolds24 we werent ever getting tatum. BOS knew he was third on LAL board. They traded with us knowing wed take Fultz. LAL wanted Fultz then Lonzo, so i dont even consider that a possibility. There was def a handshake deal not to take tatum. Plus its a gtd chip for us with AI

@Evan_Britton @HarrisBock I agree with everything you said, except- if Embiid doesn’t win a title in Philly, the process was a failure. The goal is titles. That’s how the entire city felt about the Eagles before they won. They ran Andy Reid out of town despite a very successful series of playoff runs

This is why “The Process” was a failure. It’s easy in description, difficult in execution. The idea was right. We had great picks. We simply drafted the wrong players. Better choices would’ve led to rings. And keeping the right guys perhaps…

@spencer_yablon @HarrisBock You do realize that after Boston we have the best record of any team left in the playoffs. If somehow we beat them - we have home court throughout. We were a 1 seed 2 years ago. We are winning 50+ games per season - the process didn’t fail! But.. to win a title - is not easy
