@Evan_Kim11 I agree, it’s not they used him wrong for them, they utilized him how they were supposed to because of Brown, Tatum and Kemba. I’m just saying it didn’t maximize his ability, that’s def not on Boston. He never had a great first step so he won’t lose a ton in that regard!

The Hornets are winners this offseason. Firstly, they drafted the best player in the draft and a franchise talent in Lamelo Ball to build around. Then they signed Hayward who’s still an All-Star caliber player that can take the weight off of Lamelo’s shoulders.

@whatsontapnba I wouldn’t exactly call him misused, he wasn’t in his best setting yes but that’s what they needed him for within their offense. And I don’t think he’s injury prone either but that first step is certainly not getting faster

@Evan_Kim11 He was very good last year despite a misused role. If he stays healthy, he will be fine, his play style ages well. The ankle injury one was a freak injury so I wouldn’t call him injury prone yet, that was unavoidable for anyone in that situation

@Evan_Kim11 Still consider him so. He was misused in Boston, not their fault, but because there were 3 other very talented playmaker at the guard ajd wing positions. Dude gave you 18 7 and 4.5 on very efficient splits despite that. I think he puts up Utah production again
