A platonic female friend is the only place a man isn’t required to be impressive. Here, he can confess he has no idea what he’s doing and finally take off the armor. This friendship exists outside the hierarchy he competes in. He doesn’t have to be the provider, the all-conquering hero, or the savior. It is the one dynamic in his life where he isn’t seen as a liability the moment he stops performing. ~ Pic : Sharma Ji ki Chai / Lucknow

Watching Krrish (2006) still surprises me, not just as a fan but as someone who loves cinema. The film shows how carefully and intelligently a superhero story can be written. One scene captures this perfectly: the moment when Krishna becomes Krrish. Krishna has promised his grandmother that he will never reveal his powers. But during a circus performance a fire breaks out and many children are trapped. At that moment he faces a moral dilemma. If he does nothing, the children may die. If he uses his powers, people will discover who he really is. The film lets the solution appear naturally. Krishna decides to save the children but must hide his identity. In the chaos he finds a broken mask on the ground and quickly wears it. To hide his clothes, he turns his jacket inside out, which suddenly makes it black so no one can recognize him. Only after that does he begin rescuing everyone. Even the origin of the superhero’s name is clever. While saving the children, when a child asks for his name, he is about to say “Krishna,” but stops midway because he realizes he must not reveal his identity. The word stops halfway and comes out as “Krish.” The child who asks the question assumes that “Krish” is the name of the superhero, and that is how the name is born. Moments like this show how carefully the script was constructed. In many Indian films logic often takes a back seat, but in this movie the script clearly comes first. The story also includes a science fiction idea about a computer that can predict the future, built by the villain Dr. Siddhant Arya. The concept feels similar to the prediction-based technology seen in the Hollywood film Paycheck. But even if the idea is comparable, the story itself is very different. The film only uses that basic concept and builds its own narrative around it. And that is not easy. Indian cinema has often tried to copy Hollywood stories directly and still failed. A recent example is how Forrest Gump was faithfully remade as Laal Singh Chaddha, yet the remake did not work with audiences. Krrish did something smarter. It borrowed a small idea, integrated it into an original story, and built a logical superhero film around it. That is why the film still feels impressive today. With June 2026 marking twenty years since its release, it would be wonderful if the film returned to theatres, just like Koi Mil Gaya was re-released in 2023. Some films deserve to be experienced again on the big screen, and Krrish is definitely one of them. Just imagine, what if they put some shows in Dolby Cinema or IMAX… I’ll go crazy if that happens.

@RaoSumukh I had Pixel 7. Upgraded to Find X9. While I do agree with most of the points, Animations and smoothness wise color/oxygen OS feels better.

There's something so satisfying about using a Google Pixel. It's wicked fast, the animations are smooth, haptics are best-in-class, and the color pallet integrates so well across the UI. The software lacks features, but from a visual and fluidity standpoint, it's hard to beat.

@RaoSumukh Anyone saying it’s stutter free is WRONG the issue for sure is not as prominent after updates BUT ITS STILL THERE so if someone is sensitive to micro stutter through os I can’t recommend and honestly won’t believe google will resolve the issue - Pixel 10 pro XL 😵

1. Ranveer Singh went to YRF for an action film but they declined 2. Bro went to Farah Akhtar for Don 2, the movie got delayed and the investor pulled out of the project 3. Gave multiple flops after Covid, people laughed at him 4. Signed Dhurandhar, Jio Production got angry because of the movie length and denied further funding 5. Aditya Dhar and Ranveer had to put their own money to complete the shooting 6. Dhurandhar got banned in many Gulf countries and was released mainly in Hindi 7. Became an all-time blockbuster film of Indian cinema 8. Destroyed the legacy of the YRF spy universe 9. Farhan Akhtar is running behind to start the shooting of Don 2 but Ranveer denied Best example: Kismat ki ek khoobsurat baat hai, badaldi zaruri hai

@PBanpoys @The4thTurtleNyC He did not. Can you not read? the tweet was to train from a plain brawler like a regular guy to be a strong fighter like Batman. Average Gunn fan 🤣

@EternityInGamin @IkerTorterra MOS Superman is just a plain brawler because Clark is just a regular guy with no training. Eventually I would see Batman training him post JL so he'd be pretty scary by the time he confronts Darkseid.

Just take my word please that this is what will happen assuming he works for a company. He will open a support case and get an untrained Indian. The untrained Indian will have about 15 other cases he’s working on, many of which he’s had for over 100 days. He will eventually try to help Ethan, but since he’s untrained and can’t be fired thanks to some insane contract Microsoft has with some Indian company where if he’s fired they have to fire about 1000 other similarly garbage Indian workers, he won’t have much urgency. Ethan might raise the severity of his case and get sent to an American or East Asian engineer who might actually know something. However this person will already be dealing with other problems. It’s very likely an entire week goes by before Ethan gets any closer to fixing this. This is Americas future if we don’t send them back and end our dealings

I do not know about you, but I grew up watching mostly American CN and Disney cartoons like Teen Titans, Phineas and Ferb, Adventure Time, Scooby Doo, and many others. I never liked watching Shinchan, Doraemon or other Japanese cartoons What truly hurt me was later realizing that many American kids show are now overloaded with LGBTQ WOKE bullshit. That disappointment still sits with me, and it does not feel right

Most entertainment in India (like most places in the world) was imported from the US. For decades, no one could beat the US’s domination, but somehow in the early 2000s Japan took over children’s entertainment in India When I realised this sometime ago, I had two big questions, first of course, how did they beat US to this, and second, of all the countries in the world, how come Japanese cartoons caught on in India? Answer was very simple, Indian TV networks needed to fill hours and hours of children’s programming every day but American kids’ content licences were very very expensive, episode counts were limited, and branding rules were tight (like you could not give advertisement slot to xyz during cartoon abc cause abc’s parent company is in competition with xyz) The ad revenue simply wouldn’t justify the hassle So Indian networks looked for kids entertainment from across the world, but nothing made sense, stories and cultures were too difficult to translate to an indian audience But then they came across Japanese studios like Toei, Shin-Ei, TV Toky, etc. They sold massive episode libraries at low cost and made shows about routine activities that were very relatable for an Indian kid, say for example going to school, hanging out with friends, small everyday challenges and lessons from them, etc which made them ridiculously easy to dub and present to an Indian audience This went on for sometime, until early 2010s when Indian studios started creating stronger IPs that caught on and closed the era of Japanese cartoons

Let me get this straight: Cats sleep with their newborns Bears sleep with their newborns Cows sleep with their newborns Elephants sleep with their newborns Goats sleep with their new borns Humans on the other hand? Mothers are told that sleeping with their new born babies is a terrible idea and they must put the babies in a separate room or bed to keep them safe. Sounds like another example of humans thinking they’re smarter than nature.

AI just broke HR verification. An employee took a clean photo of his hand — no injury, nothing. He opened Gemini Nano and typed: “apply an injury on my hand.” In seconds, AI generated a hyper-realistic wound: sharp, detailed, medically believable. He sent it to HR saying he “fell from his bike.” HR saw the photo… felt bad… and instantly approved his paid leave. Here’s the crazy part: There was no accident. No wound. Only an AI-generated injury. Read that again. HR systems were built for a world where photos were proof. But now they’re facing 2025-level AI — and they’re getting completely outplayed. If people start using AI to fake injuries, medical proof, or claims, HR, insurance, and compliance teams are in serious trouble. AI isn’t the villain. Outdated verification is. Welcome to the era of AI vs AI — where trust has to be redesigned from scratch.
