Funnily enough, though, the symbol he wears doesn’t mean thunder. It is instead the Chinese hexagram for fire.

Did you know? Lei-Kung The Thunderer was inspired by actual mythology! In Chinese mythology, Leigong is the God of Thunder! Lei Gong Da is also an attack in White Crane Kung Fu!

Hi everyone! Although I more often than not talk about Iron Fist COMICS, I won’t be posting anymore about Iron Fist in television or film in solidarity with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA. Don’t expect much change, but I thought you should know that I stand with them & their cause

Did you know? In the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN animated series, the Spider-Man villain Scorpion is from K’un-Lun, and is the former friend of Danny Rand. Scorpion joined the Sinister Six to get revenge on Iron Fist and Spider-Man He is, in essence, a bootleg Steel Serpent.

I will note, if you still aren’t sure of Lin Lie, then this story won’t sway you one way or the other. Either way, I recommend it because, as I said, it’s a fun story.

DAREDEVIL #11 released today, with an Iron Fist backup story! Without giving away too much, Iron Fist is sent to meet Daredevil by Danny Rand for assistance with his training. It’s a fun short story, and a smart way to introduce our new Iron Fist to the street level world.
