As expected, Momoh Kamara is going on loan with Elfsborg. Parameters of the loan are unclear (recall option, purchase options, etc). per @DKristoffersson If there's a purchase option, ideally MNUFC makes it substantial. Kamara is too talented to let go without a solid return.

I wonder what will need to change (if anything) once Rodriguez starts to play. IMO I think they'll need to make 1 adjustment (if Knowles wants to keep the 3-2) & it changes the role of our LB & RB. Instead of the LB (Markanich) providing the width, he'll tuck into the first line of our 3-2 defense, and our RB (Duncan?) will now push up. With James & Pereyra being our 10's, Chanca will now provide the width out left where Markanich once was. #MNUFC

@nateek That’s hard because I listen to every pod & every episode they release & would definitely recommend them all, haha. But if I had to make my own personal ‘tier list’: (Looney Blues & Loon Calling are pretty much brand new pods so putting them in the middle so far)

@EverythingMNUFC In my book Markanich is a wing back, not a full back, which is why he’s struggling this season. Also, what podcast is this?

Going into the season, I would have probably agreed that Markanich’s spot was one of the safest in the back line (though going to a back 4 vs. 5 with him did worry me). But after these first 3 matches, & especially with his performance vs. Nashville, there’s no question in my mind there are talks about giving Padelford a run there if Markanich has another shocker of a game. #MNUFC

Sometimes I don't know what #MNUFC are trying to do in possession... -Pereyra not interested in combining with Yeboah/Chanca -Bongi not interest in his 1v1 out wide -Diaz not interested in the under/overlap -No change of pace, no movement, no penetration -Completely static

3rd goal conceded: 🔴 Why Markanich didn't tuck into the LCB position is odd. 🔴 Instead he decides to do a rash challenge & completely takes himself out of the play. Padelford had his man covered & facing away from goal. 🔴 The LCB area he fails to fill is where the goal comes from. #MNUFC

2nd goal conceded: 🔴 Markanich gets caught way too far forward. It’s odd that he didn’t track back into a more defensive position once we lost the 50/50 aerial from Díaz’s clearance. #MNUFC

1st goal conceded: 🔴 Markanich jumps out & directs Chanca to fill in at LB. 🔴 NSH do an opposite vertical movement that drags Chanca out of his temp LB spot 🔴 Trapp doesn't track runner IMO, Ant should've picked up that 1st run to keep our defensive shape, not Chanca. #MNUFC
