Today, I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Leslie Benzies and Mark Gerhard, CEOs of Build A Rocket Boy. After those conversations I honestly feel much more reassured about the future of both the games and the studio. They answered many of the questions that all of us in the community have been asking for months, and over the next few days I’ll be sharing clips and more information from our conversations. These past few weeks have obviously been incredibly difficult, especially for the people who have left the studio, and I don’t want that to be forgotten or ignored. They know mistakes were made, and they’re not ignoring that. With a smaller team, a clearer focus, and much more attention being paid to community feedback, I genuinely believe things can improve from here. There’s still a long road ahead, but for the first time in a while, I’m feeling optimistic again about where Build A Rocket Boy, EVERYWHERE (yes, EV!) and MindsEye could go next.

One of the new modes coming to EVERYWHERE once the platform is available again is something called “Grenade Football” ⚽️ It’s a 5v5 football mode where the ball is blasted and passed around using grenade launchers. The gameplay I got to see looked surprisingly competitive, fast paced and honestly hilarious in the best way possible. Could easily become one of the community’s favourite Here's some screenshots ⤵️

Here’s a quick look at what’s been confirmed over the past month for what’s coming next! ⤵️ - BARB is now self-publishing, meaning more control over their roadmap. - Multiplayer is coming to both PC and consoles, with CROSSPLAY support. - Blacklisted mission coming very soon. - FREE ROAM is returning, improved. - UGC is coming to consoles. - The team is working on a PERFORMANCE MODE for consoles. - EVERYWHERE is still alive, according to Mark Gerhard. - Leslie Benzies is back in the studio!

Huge news for Build A Rocket Boy and MindsEye! What's coming? ⤵️ - MULTIPLAYER RACES Multiplayer is coming to ARCADIA. Multiplayer Races will let players compete head-to-head in competitive racing. - ARCADIA Race Builder for Console and PC Console players will be able to build their own single and multiplayer racing games. - BLACKLISTED Step into the role of Julia Black, a world-class assassin on a mission to Redrock City to eliminate two key targets. Working for Meridian, an agency under pressure from both outside forces and internal threats, every move carries risk. Infiltrate a criminal network, sabotage a deadly deal, and uncover the truth in a story driven by espionage, deception, and precision. - MORE ARCADIA CONTENT In addition, Console Players will soon be able to access the library of player-made games the PC community has already created. It is the first time this part of ARCADIA is available to everyone. There is more coming in 2026 that BARB is not ready to talk about just yet. They will share things as they get closer.

Despite months of silence around EVERYWHERE, @laughivore has confirmed it’s still very much part of the vision! Described as “two sides of the same coin” with MindsEye: - Same Arcadia tools - Same ecosystem - Different directions (realistic vs futuristic) The plan is for BOTH to come together over time.

MindsEye Blacklisted & Update 8: Blacklisted is coming VERY SOON. It was originally expected to release a couple of weeks ago, but received additional playtesting and QA to ensure it launches in the best state. The Blacklisted Update will include: - The Blacklisted mission - A few new nodes - Improvements to existing logic systems IMPORTANT❗️: Blacklisted and UPDATE 8 are TWO SEPARATE UPDATES. UPDATE 8 is expected to be a MUCH BIGGER update overall.
