Just 20 days out from the Warrnambool May Carnival and 17 years since these photos were taken after the “greatest training performance in the history of the race”, when Sir Pentire won the 2009 Grand Annual after 2 years off from racing and 3 years since his only ever attempt at a jumps race. It was the best birthday present for Mum and I, thanks Dad! Can’t wait to get down there and be immersed in all things The Bool. 🏇❤️ @wboolracingclub @laing_racing
