Mike Colter has been amazing, both comically and dramatically, on every show we’ve done since GOOD WIFE. Now he’s playing a lawyer on our show, CUPERTINO. I know I’m late on sharing this casting, but I was distracted by the world and all the AI news.

We’re thrilled to have Busy join the cast of CUPERTINO, a series we start shooting in two weeks. She and Renee Goldsberry, also joining CUPERTINO, were the funniest members of the funniest series of the last few years, GIRLS 5EVA. Sorry I haven’t been on here with updates, but I forgot for a minute the point of Twitter.

Rachel Keller, who was so extraordinary in her massively different roles in FARGO and LEGION, has also joined our show, CUPERTINO. I can’t wait to see the dynamic between her and Mike Colter.

A decade after the end of ‘The Good Wife,’ CBS will be launching a new legal drama from its creators Robert and Michelle King. The network has given a series order to ‘Cupertino,’ created and executive produced by the Kings and starring ‘The Good Wife’ alum Mike Colter, to premiere during the 2026-27 season.
