The reason why I don't think they are going to do anything additional with the cube, like some of the cool TNT, backpack, ETC type idea's Ive seen floated, is because they could have done this with many good suggestions for the mace (allowing it to become a hammer as well), the copper golem (smarter AI to handle chests a bit easier), and many other additions.
I think once they have their design plans, other than minor tweaks, Mojang doesn't really consider additional recommended functionality.

@Prowl8413 Thats almost impossible for campaign-RPG like games though.
If a game has an Ending then burnt out can happen especially when you exhaust everything.
even replay to test out different paths, secrets, builds, etc. Burnt out is inevitable unless it's Competitive Multiplayer

I'll understand why they design this game to mostly appeal to Minecraft fans, but I really hope/wish they would design it to be appealing to ARPG fans.
I don't want a game I play for a month and am done with. I want to have a reason to play this for years.

thought about it more, and i think the chaos cubed drop could be perfected extremely easily:
- Add a sulfur powder item
- Sulfur powder crafts into gunpowder, is a trim material, speeds up oxidation, and of course crafts the sulfur block
- Sulfur cubes drop sulfur powder

One thing the Endersent did after exiting the end portal and taking the eyes of ender (who btw give them unique names like blighted eye, thorned eye, etc.) was to go to the deepest part of the world, around bedrock spread void blocks and dig. maybe looking for the ancient city?

Dungeons 2 anouncement and how it reconects with in vanilla easter eggs has me actually in theorizing mood again. And it looks like it was planed all this time. Drops really might be just filler content to keep us ocupied

@3Yeat3 This and the Block Type/Properties/Weight is also another factor for the distance.
We'll just have to wait for snapshots to come out and test out how things work, what are the properties of this and that. Cool feature tbh

@Lilah_NET having a passion for geology makes minecraft kinda painful for me sometimes. what do you mean there’s just andesite here. in real life it might mean an explosive volcano like Mt Vesuvius was nearby but does it have any exciting implications in Minecraft? Absolutely not

Mojang is adding sulphur caves to Minecraft and instead of making them mechanically interesting to navigate (given the well known dangers of sulphur caves irl) they just shoved in a cutesy mob designed to sell merch and called it a day 😭

@Lilah_NET Though there is a circulating theory of a New Insect Mob, since the Chiseled Cinnabars portrayed a new insect, if true hopefully it'll be hostile

@harristic_ Question is, What would sharks Add other than being an ambient animal?
Don't go SharkTooth, Shark Fin, Meat, etc. to me because that won't do since it'll lead to player killing which equals to sharks being monsters again

Ofcourse the Slime will just Split into 2 for a peaceful interaction, slime wasn't hurt that much

- Wood are slightly heavy
- Honey would be sticky(doesn't bounce alot)
- Stone ofcourse is heavy
Real question is:
- TNT (ignites or explode on impact?)

- Work Stations alike (?)

- Stone, Cobblestone, Andesite
- Pumpkins, Moss, Pale Moss
- Nether Wart & Warped Wart Blocks
- and Honeycomb Blocks were implied in a teaser

One more Cube to bring Chaos for this update
Feature:
- Spawns on Deep Ocean and Coral Reefs
- Hostile
- Can Swim(mainly stays on the bottom)
- Drops Water Balls, which can be crafted to Water Cube, Use for Piston contraptions, Players can walk or pass through it

@harristic_ So much for called "Chaos Cube" sure that Sulfure Slime does bring chaos for fun activities, but I was thinking they should atleast bring one more Cube to the game

@harristic_ I've dreamt more Mossy and Cobbled blocks, like Kelped Prismarine Blockset, to see aging in Ocean Monuments.
More cracked and tiled ver.
Heck Calcite is left in the dust for not having a block sets, many many inconsistency with the other stone types

Imagine Giant Centipedes within the caves, Hornets, Ants, Giant Hostile Crustaceans.
Big Bugs are definitely real in historic times but they are a good blend of Fantasy and Real "Monsters" that give fear

now the chiseled block i take issue with. they depict things rather than have a general unique chiseled shape, this limits their usability greatly. the blocks that arent as themed usualy work better universally while blocks like chiseled resin bricks are only working in context.

@OrJeka @NovaWostra Like come on, they'd Bane of Arthropods a long time ago, and tbh they should atleast exclude bugs from the "real life vs fantasy" thing.
After all, insects are extremely resilient and reproduce faster than anything, they also induce fear to people in some ways so why not

If not theres genuinely no way no one at Mojang thought of googling whether theres a six legged insect that is linked to cinnabar before just adding a "spider" to the bricks

@chippel @NovaWostra Thats the thing, you won't be killed but other damage sources can,
Plus tbe debuffs wont go away in an instant you step out of the pool, you'll be vulnerable AND can't heal yourself due to the poison

@EvilVirus4 @NovaWostra That's totally redundant because after 10 seconds of poison you'll already be at one hit point which means you're fine because poison can't kill you.

Saw now twice the suggestion that it should first deal nasea, as a warning, and then after some few seconds you get the poison effect. that would probably the most sensible way to handle this

the sulfur biome feels kinda like a lush cave reskin recolour, sulfur and cinnebar are quite toxic in real life. people did die just jumping into those pools thinking its safe. the clouds just causing players to experience nausea is very underwealming.
