It is time: I need a new mountain bike.
Wants: 29er with a good amount of travel (I live and ride in Park City). I've been on a 2018 Giant Trance Advanced 1 for years.
Any advice?! Photo for proof that I ride bikes!!

@dave_runacres that depends - e.Thirteen makes all kinds of components. Is it a creaky hub? Cassette? Crankset? Bar/Stem interface?

@Evil_Bikes anyone else had an issue with e-thirteen creaking? Since I bought my bike it’s never stopped creaking and had it at bike shop numerous times to fix it.

@ExcellentHandle it is, however you will have to keep an eye on our online retailers. We have sold through our 2021 direct to consumer inventory, however many of those dealers will be receiving product over the coming months.

@aviddy correct. The 184x42 was a custom OE spec. It is a 184x44 with a 2mm limiter inside. Professional suspension techs should be able to accommodate.

@Evil_Bikes I'm looking to replace the shock on my V1 Following. I know there's not a lot of options; so is there any information y'all can give me so I can be sure whatever I order will fit?

@aviddy your current options are the Monarch Debonair (OE), or Fox DPS.
If you purchase either aftermarket, they will be configured as a 184x44, rather than the spec 184x42. That will work, but it will limit you to the High FlipChip position. Low will no longer work.
