A complaint has already been raised with the Ministry of Railways / Southern Railway, Chennai Division highlighting that Avadi was declared a priority station and assured due importance.
Despite this, essential passenger information systems remain unimplemented at Avadi while similar works have been completed at other stations, indicating a clear mismatch between declared priority and actual execution.
The matter is currently under process with the concerned department. Awaiting an official response with a clear timeline for completion.

On paper yes Thiruvallur handles revenue stuff like land and registration but that doesn’t define how a city actually functions
Avadi is part of CMA so planning transport infrastructure zoning all come under metropolitan level not district office so in real world it runs as part of Chennai’s urban system not some isolated Thiruvallur town
Also Avadi is a municipal corporation while Thiruvallur is still a municipality so in terms of urban scale and governance Avadi has already moved ahead and is administratively independent apart from district level revenue functions

Boarding is strictly limited to the seating capacity, and standing is not permitted in these buses. Only on paper Avadi comes under Thiruvallur district, but functionally it’s part of the Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA). That’s how planning, infrastructure and urban development are actually handled.
Within Chennai’s urban structure, there are only three corporations, Greater Chennai Corporation, Tambaram Corporation and Avadi Corporation. So treating Avadi as some separate outskirt just based on district doesn’t reflect the real administrative and urban setup.

IPL starts on March 28 and this "pace boost" joins only around April 21 to 23 almost a one month gap. What exactly is the plan till then? Just manage somehow and hope for the best? Where was cricket before the 90s just shows you skipped history class, 1983 itself made it massive, the 90s only brought TV reach. Calling it less physical is hilarious, try bowling spells or fielding all day before talking. People are not forced to watch anything, cricket survives because it delivers long tactical entertainment. This happened during peak COVID lockdown when timings weren’t “flexible” like now, they were strictly enforced and even small violations were being penalised heavily, especially by local police. But more importantly, this case was never about just a shop being open after 9pm. The brutality, illegal custody, custodial torture and fabricated FIR are all documented and proven in court. Suggesting some “side business” theory despite CCTV evidence and a full trial only shows you haven’t followed the case at all.

Jayaraj kept his mobile shop open past 9pm during lockdown.
Police came. Took him away.
His son Bennix heard about it and rushed to the station to check on his father.
They let him in.
Then locked the door.
Both were stripped. Tied down on a wooden table. Beaten with lathis every 10 minutes through the night.
Their blood splattered the walls.
The next morning police took them to a doctor who gave them a fitness certificate.
Then to a magistrate who remanded them to jail without even looking at them properly.
Bennix died on June 22. Jayaraj died on June 23.
Yesterday a court found all 9 police officers guilty of murder.
It took 6 years.
Sentencing is on March 30.
The FIR said Jayaraj and Bennix rolled on the ground and used obscene language.
CCTV from the shop next door showed nothing of that sort happened.
The case against them was completely fabricated.
They died for a crime they never committed.

Parandur is far beyond politics at this point. It’s already a state backed strategic infrastructure project with around 60% of land acquisition completed which is the most critical and irreversible phase. Once land is acquired and processes move into execution, rollback becomes practically impossible.
Projects like this are driven by bureaucratic systems, policy frameworks and long term administrative planning, not by political parties. Even if TVK or any other party comes to power, they inherit the same legal commitments and financial obligations.
So irrespective of who is in power, Parandur airport will definitely happen. That’s how governance actually works, decisions are executed by bureaucrats and policy continuity, not party changes.

No company ever says they’re leaving until they already have one foot out. It always starts with fewer launches, less priority, and silent cutbacks. By the time people realise, the exit is already done.
And if you think OnePlus isn’t part of that cycle, you know nothing about how BBK plays this game. Oppo is clearly pushing hard into the flagship space, and the biggest blocker for them is literally OnePlus itself. Eventually they won’t let both compete at the same level.
