I really don't get why people think OoT Zelda is this bad person Sending Link back in time was never out of malice or idiocracy, but rather guilt over taking his childhood from him. Link is likely still a child mentally (or at least lacking experience), and Zelda knew this

@Moth865 Hey now, I wouldn't go that far. I'm a big time lover for the Legend of Zelda— my favorite Nintendo IP for sure, and while I miss the original formula, gatekeeping the series isn't the way to go either. Wilds and Tears weren't bad games at all! They still had the soul in them.

What happened to Zelda really saddens me. Fans of the original games and fans of the wild era games are fans of completely different things, and it so happens that the most popular games by far the the wild era ones, so 70% of Zelda “fans” have no love for the soul of the series.

Genuinely that this game came out of Nintendo is a miracle
