(2/2) This work focuses on genomics of ancient hybridization, using as model the Iberian chubs. Since it has been found that hybridization is overspread and was at play throughout the tree of life, shedding light in this phenomenon and its implications is crucial.

(2/3) This research not only deepens our understanding of phenotypic plasticity but also supports freshwater fish conservation! By using cell culture, it was possible to reduce animal sacrifice while shedding light on the physiological impacts of climate change.
