Instagram accounts still getting hacked despite Meta’s “fix” — AI Support chatbot exploit is NOT over 🤖💔 Hackers keep hijacking Instagram accounts with a ridiculously simple trick: 1. Spoof the target’s location with a VPN 2. Chat with Meta’s AI support bot 3. Ask it to add a new email → the AI sends the verification code and even offers a password reset. 🤡! No password. No email access needed. High-profile pages like the Obama White House and U.S. Space Force accounts were already publicly hit. Meta VP @andymstone claimed Tuesday that “this issue has been resolved,” but users and developers say their accounts are still being stolen. They apparently only removed the front-end button while the backend APIs remain wide open. Why exactly??? This is textbook prompt injection turning Meta’s own AI “helper” into a hacker’s dream tool. There is this guy currently going to neighborhoods to make people aware of the insecurity in the country and why they need to come out and. Imagine if we have 1,000 youths in each state doing this and creating awareness. Even without live protests, Nigerian youths at home can do this and win against the government. OpenAI has teamed up with Japan's megabanks to provide them with GPT-5.5 for their cyber defense needs. 🇯🇵🌹 OpenAI granted Japan's three largest banks access to its GPT-5.5-Cyber model through a vetted "Trusted Access for Cyber" program, Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said Friday. MUFG Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking, and Mizuho Bank are expected to use the model to probe their own systems for security gaps, according to the Nikkei. The deal, brokered after U.S.-Japan 🎌 government discussions, also opens a path for Japanese institutions to access Anthropic's Claude Mythos model following Trump administration approval, Katayama said.
