One mum shared a story about her friend's daughter being told to harm herself online. Another spoke about the daily battle of getting her teenagers off social media. As a mum, I know that feeling all too well. The constant worry. Wondering what's happening on the other side of a screen. Trying to protect your kids in a world that's changing faster than any of us can keep up with. Every parent I met in Mill Park wanted the same thing: To know their kids are safe. Safe from addictive platforms. Safe from anonymous abuse. Safe enough to just be kids. That's why we're changing the law to hold tech companies to account when children are harmed, and stop people hiding behind anonymous accounts to spread hate. Because the rules should protect families - not let Big Tech off the hook. And no parent should have to fight this battle alone.
