@DonCaldwelll True. Probably worth a shot. Can’t be much worse than we are playing atm. He can’t kick though, but given the skills on display atm by our team it should fit right in.

@AFLNation 100% his work rate is outstanding. He is a true hunter. Need more like him.

You know what…
Despite everything else, these kids coming through are more than alright. Caddy, Kako, Roberts, Johnson, Farrow, Sharp, Day-Wicks — plus Unwin, Gerreyn and Robey in the VFL today.
That’s the future.
There’s real potential in that group. The more games and development they get, the better they’ll be. It might be a slow burn right now, but there’s a genuine core building, that will grow together.
That’s what I’m choosing to look ahead to.

@AussieVal10 Finally. I bet she was pressured into it behind the scenes. They would have been watching the SA results and know they need some strong preferences to kick Labor to the kerb

@WHWindsock Dreadful. He is talking medium to long term again. We have had 4 years of no improvement. In fact I would argue we are worse. We are the worst I have ever seen. That is more than enough time to show he is a rubbish coach.

@Ryandally08 What a loser. No solutions from you either Albo. What have you solved lately? Playing the old racist cats as well with one nation, when he is the architect of attempting to put up one of the most racially divisive legislation ever with the voice.

#BREAKING Anthony Albanese says that One Nation runs on problems “the problem is that this person doesn’t look like you” he adds “they run on division”
He then blames the “social media algorithm for mistrust in Government”
I think the mistrust is in him

16 straight losses... has time run out for Brad Scott?

@Ryandally08 Of course he would. As he knows that if one nation and the liberals have a preference deal then Labor will be wiped out at the next election. The liberals would be mad not to work with one nation. Labor get so many preferences from the greens, teals and independents

@triplemfooty I called this last week when we played port. We will be lucky to win a game this year.

"We're going through a difficult time at the moment, but we'll be fine... there might be some short term pain, but we're willing to endure that."
Brad Scott on the message to Essendon fans.

@DonCaldwelll How do we get a petition up to get rid of Scott. He needs to go. The sooner the better. I would be surprised if the vast majority of supporters wouldn’t want him gone.
English

@Dimitrios_1963 Yeah they couldn’t have done anything more stupid. Talk about sell out of your shareholders. Couldn’t even let the share price run for a week before a CR.
English

@SandyXiaotong How about have 90 days reserve fuel? Bring in limits immediately to stop idiots stock piling. Properly leveraged trading partners that take huge amounts of gas and have given us nothing eg Japan.
English

@ausstockchick Agree. Lots of people with cash still. Went out with a mate on a Tuesday night for dinner at the local Chinese restaurant and it was packed. The whole shopping area was packed full of cars.

Friday night and Grill’d (take away) is so busy.

@hot_rails @Stockrocker_ASX Fantastic idea. It’s a no brainer. Unfortunately this would require strategic thinking and intelligence that our current govt is devoid of.

Australia has plenty of gas, but most of it is in the Northwest Shelf, isolated from the populated east coast. The West-East Pipeline would unify the national market, connecting cheap WA gas to the expensive eastern states.
A 2017 feasibility study estimated construction would take two years and cost $5.8 billion, and reduce east coast gas prices by $3/GJ - a benefit of over $2 billion per year! That’s narrow peacetime benefits only, ignoring the project’s strategic value and national resilience.
If coupled with a gas-to-liquids plant in South Australia, it would underpin true liquid fuel security for a nation increasingly aware of its dependence on maritime trade.
