How can this be right? The Govt want to give #SpikeVax vaccination to #immunocompromised despite no testing of safety or effectiveness in that group yet refuse to supply #Evusheld which is in use in over 30 countries and is proven to be effective for them #Evusheldb4winter

My friends and colleagues on @IndependentSage are taking a well-earned summer break but will be back with the usual excellent #COVID19 brief in a few weeks time. There is still so much work needed to control Covid, the UK government is doing little or nothing.

So @BorisJohnson what will your parting legacy be. You could cut through the chaos and rollout #Evusheld quickly and be a hero to the 500,000 vulnerable people who need protection. This would also help ease the pressure on the @NHSuk before winter too.
