We’re delighted to announce that the East Wight Primary has its People's Champion. Following the final vote, Vix Lowthion (Green) won with 66.7% of the vote. 878 constituents took part in this groundbreaking community initiative. (1/2)

@VixL @Ewightprimary I agree with you on the election system, although of course that also means Reform will do better which I don’t relish. You fought a great campaign always visible and present. I’m just unsure this ‘lending’ tactical voting worked, East Primary shouldn’t interfere.

@diaoaks @VixL That's not the conclusion we draw. We concluded that @VixL was the bet local progressive candidate which she was. If national tactical vote sides went with local knowledge and data, who knows!
