@Lunchiblz Maybe? Luckily the game's not going anywhere. If FF11 is anything to go by they're not shutting the servers down anytime soon haha. All that's happening is the stories coming to an end. They have commented that they may do bigger quests down the road similar to breaking world

Version 8 will be the final major story expansion for DQX. I've been playing for 6 years myself which is just over half of the games total life so far. A bit sad to see it's the end. The game will remain online of course and we might get big quests like Breaking World down the line. History is happening #DragonQuest #DQ10

@inud0ki They've confirmed the game will still be active of course. Let's not forget this is the same company that still has final Fantasy 11 running to this day lmao. The story may be coming to a close but the game isn't going anywhere anytime soon I'd imagine

@OptmistSunday I know several people outside of the US that do use a VPN. It kind of stinks to have to do it but using the right one like mudfish or whatever it's called aren't too much extra hassle

So it seems like Square Enix will be using Google Gemini with the AI NPCs enabling natural conversations so I guess they'll be able to say different things rather than almost the same thing when you talk to them. Something like this I wouldn't mind because usually in any RPG when you talk to NPCs they'll say pretty much almost the same thing over and over and over again. If they are making it where you can have pretty much natural conversations and they'll say different things almost every time, then hey I'm all good with that. @ExalinExcels @CranberryFo

@Jackson2Wavy I have no idea how you would get it to run on one of those. It takes some additional setup but you can do so on things like the steam deck though
