Daniel Hannan: 'No one asks for reparations from, say, China (which did not abolish slavery until 1910) or Ethiopia (1942) or Saudi Arabia (1962), because these countries do not encourage the shake-down artists.' 'The resolution was moved by Ghana on behalf of the African Union, which has indicated that it intends to pursue Britain and various European countries through the courts. China, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia were among the states that backed the motion. So, shamelessly, were North Korea, Eritrea and Mauritania, the three places where slavery is most prevalent today.' Britain should slap sanctions on any country demanding slavery reparations telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/2…

“I have nothing against artists. I had a rock band myself. My problem is that if you need a government subsidy to make art, you’re no longer an artist—you’re a public employee.” — Javier Milei

🚨Starmer all but confirms ANOTHER U-turn, that he will allow the Boriswave to get Indefinite Leave to Remain and soon after citizenship. This will cost the British taxpayer hundreds of billions. Millions came here under the Tories without the consent of the British people, and 5 in 6 came here to NOT work. Starmer had a chance to fix this, but he is pathetically caving to Rayner and Polanski.

The Mandelson Messages are now disappearing - and being disappeared - on an industrial scale. It’s become one of the biggest cover-ups in British political history. And the voters aren’t going to fall for it > Mail Plus > dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…

Genuinely can’t believe my ears hearing Tories announce Britain should drill much more in the North Sea. Less than 4 years ago it was THEM that slapped a 75% tax on it! Never forget.

Wow. Hertfordshire Police have a serious problem. The same force that wrongly arrested parents Maxie Allen and Rosalind Levine — who dared to criticise their daughter’s school on WhatsApp — and were later forced to pay £20,000 in compensation has struck again. A dozen officers turned up at the home of IT boss Sam Smith after receiving complaints from two Facebook group members last March. Smith had his house searched, his devices seized, and was forced to spend a night in a cell at Hatfield police station. The force later logged that the search was “not suitable or lawful”. He is now suing the force through the High Court for £700,000 in damages and personal injury. Sam Smith writes a blog under the name Matthew Hopkins, the Witchfinder General. He penned two blog posts to correct misinformation about a woman in a local park who was falsely accused of being a paedophile, photographed, and confronted as a result of online posts. After he criticised the police for inaction in one — particularly the local inspector — they pursued him. He was told he was being arrested for malicious communications. During the search, a pile of undelivered Conservative Party leaflets was also seized. Mr Smith is seeking a summary judgment at a hearing next month. He told the Mail: ‘So far Herts Police have failed to settle the case and ignored the recommendations of their own PCC in defiance of best practice and reason. It is a waste of public money and damages public confidence.’ In 2024, His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary found Hertfordshire Police required improvement in its investigation of crime and in its leadership and management, and was inadequate in its recording of offences. Britain abolished slavery in Ghana, in the teeth of resistance by the Ashanti. Britain, indeed, stamped out slavery worldwide. This is the thanks we get. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/2…

Britain built hundreds of reservoirs before 1992, over 200 in the 20th century. Now? Not one major new reservoir in over 30 years. Population up 13 million. Demand soaring. But Britain has become a country where nothing gets built anymore, strangled by red tape, judicial reviews, and short term politics. A developed nation that’s forgotten how to develop.

Rachel Reeves blaming forecourts is pure deflection. At 160p per litre: Tax: 80p Forecourt profit: 7p The government takes over 50%, which is around 10x more than forecourts. But somehow it’s the petrol stations fault? The public can see straight through this.

Is this was a march against hate, @DawnButlerBrent, why were Jewish protestors prevented from participating and why do they need police protection from your 'anti-racist' comrades?
habibi@habibi_uk

"Zionist scum off our streets!" "Zionism terrorism!" "Go back home!" Look at the number of officers needed to protect a small handful of people. That's a measure of the hatred in the capital. And its shame. Tnx to UKSploosh for filming.
