The co-location of offshore wind with wave energy in hybrid offshore wind farms can result in positive benefits, thanks to their complementary nature. In the EU-SCORES project, we demonstrate the combination of offshore wind- with wave- and offshore solar energy, which paves the way for bankable offshore multi-source energy parks. During the Offshore Wind Seminar in Chile, EU-SCORES is thrilled to announce our contribution: 🎤 @DMEC_NL ‘s Alva Bechlenberg will explore the advantages and opportunities of multi-source offshore renewable energy parks in Chile. 🎤 @WavecOfficial ‘s Ana Brito e Melo will present the developments of floating offshore wind in Europe, with a particular focus on Portugal. 🤝🌊Stakeholders engagement, collaboration and spreading awareness are among the key success indicators in implementing offshore energy innovations. 💡Last month, the EU-SCORES project, the @ESPON_Programme, the Offshore For Sure projects and @DMEC_NL were pleased to welcome international delegations from Estonia, Colombia, Ireland and Portugal to discuss collaboration happening directly at the Scheveningen Harbour. In addition, several Dutch technology developers showcased their game-changing innovations contributing to a sustainable offshore energy transition. Special thanks to @RVO_Nederland and NedZero - Wind Energy Association for hosting this insightful visit.
