Developer who posts about what they’re building, gets a DM from a CTO, lands a contract.
Developer who only posts motivational content gets likes from other developers who also need jobs.
The content you put out signals what you’re worth to the people with money to spend.
Build in public. Show the work, not the wisdom.

In a week, we get at least 15 of these kinds of messages. That’s why I’m a strong advocate of “share your work.”
The noise-makers on the TL are not your target audience. Your target audience are people who would actually need your services and pay you for it.
So stay focused and always SHARE YOUR WORK❤️.

@TosinOlugbenga Cloning the UI or features is easy now. What’s still hard is distribution, iteration speed, community, trust, execution, and actually keeping users long term.

@debojyoti452 Interesting…
Are you competing with Resend.
There are many startups on @GammsApp you can pitch to, if your offering is affordable.

As devs in Nigeria, we are really going through a lot.
I had a meeting scheduled with a client, then the rain started and messed up my network. I reached out to let her know the meeting wouldn’t hold, and the next thing she said was, ‘Nigerians have started with their complaints again.’
Omo… water comot for my eyes
