When I was a little kid, I dreamed about being the age I am now, owning my own company, and having my own life ( 19 ).
Now that I'm 19, I wish I could go back and enjoy the special childhood moments more. I was so focused on preparing myself for my dream life that I didn't enjoy or want the present moment.
When I'm 30, I'll probably wish I could go back and be 19 again, experiencing all of these new things for the first time.
I find it fascinating that no matter how much money, fame, or power you have- you can never go back in time.
God is an incredible game designer. If we get out of our own heads, we all have the ability to do whatever we want whenever we want. Yet when you get what you wanted when you were younger, you wish you could just go back to the younger you and not even want anything.
For this next decade, I'm going to optimize myself to have minimal wants and maximum love.
Wanting stuff is overrated.
