what’s the lore behind your fitness journey?

Just a few frames from a storyboard project that I'm working on! I generated the character "Mike" with Gemini to depict the exact emotions i wanted for this project. Next steps will be syncing the images with @runwayml or @floraai to generate a 10-15 secs clip and finishing up the storyboard and handing over the assets to a motion designer.

Gonna plug my dad’s story. His dad died when he was 2 and he watched his mum suffer as a widow in Ogoloma He was extremely smart and his community put him through school till he got a scholarship to study medicine in the UK. Now he’s a doctor and travels the world educating ethnic minorities on diabetes and healthy living. He also has a language school on YT to preserve the Okrika language. @ajanwachuku My gospel. This is what notes and journals are used for. I have it down to the most granular information.

I think every [young] person should have a very clear idea of who they want to be. The life they want to live. Pick a timeframe. 2 years. 5 years. Who do you want to be at 25? 30? 35? 40? Like with terrifying specificity. What sports do you play? Where do you work? What’s your salary? Where do you live? What’s your week like? Who’s still around you? What’s your networth? What industry do you want to be in? What things do you no longer do? I’ve seen so many people fumble opportunities because they couldn’t realize fast enough that they were at the doorway for the life they wanted, because they couldn’t articulate the life they wanted. Write it down, talk about it. with friends. sometimes even with enemies. be loud, and be intentional. I can’t count how many times I’ve been called to do something because a friend remembered that “oh, you said it’d be cool if you worked with an event/company/creative, so this thing came up and I thought of you”. You don’t have the life you want, because you don’t even know what it is yet.

@the_lopetee Love his approach to fitness. He doesn’t obsess over counting calories and all as he eats in moderation and >90% healthy while keeping his build. That’s my style.
