@reformussoccer Pro/Rel and more City Derby’s there is 40 cities which are pretty much 500k population or more, yet it is a closed system and only to the rich. Add 3 teams to New York with the population you should easily sustain 5-10k crowds for each other those teams. Just need the pathways.

@suitedbootedtv Great conversation, however maybe they mean on how the J-league and how it developed into a multi tier system. Starting with 10 clubs growing to 3 tiers with total 60 teams in 32 years. Now would t expect Australia to get to 60 professional team but sure 32-36.

Does Australia need to fk off everything else and create its “own” style? Or does it make sense to copy other nations?

So, Canberra will not be a part of the 25/25 ALM season…ALW team backing needs to be secured soon, as they want to lock in the schedule by the end of March. Disappointing, but hardly surprising given the long silence. They’re still looking at 26/27 for the ALM’s…
