Dude the game has not been touched for 2 years. The last patch they ever did was like a bug patch of 1 bug in March of last year. That was it. And Itsuno leaving definitely had to have pushed stuff back in DD in general. They absolutely missed the mark with evolving the game. It’s copium at this point

tl;dr: He's a frozen hyperborean with a rim of frost on his outfit who was brought to Vernworth seconds ago via ferrystone and placed on the tavern balcony. That's my headcanon unless @capcom_official proves me wrong.

Who I think he is: 1. He's a Hyperborean. 2. The white "fur" on his outfit is really frost (cuz he's Hyperborean). 3. The blue glow is because he's encased in a thin layer of ice (cuz he's Hyperborean). 4. He hasn't thawed cuz he was just brought in from Hyperborea via Ferrystone

What conclusion(s) am I drawing from this? Absolutely none. Still, what an odd series of coincidences.

This is getting weird... I noticed Sara, but no Brokkr. I wondered if Blue Beastren was Brokkr and did a search to double check his hairstyle. It doesn't match DD2's Brokkr, but there's a character Brokkr from Assassin's Creed: Valhalla whose outfit and hair are vaguely similar.

And by "vaguely similar," I mean: 1. He's got a shaved head with braid going down the back. 2. His outfit features blue themes with white fur lining, albeit with differences. 3. He's a dwarf named Brokkr (TBF, Brokkr is the name of a dwarf in Norse mythology).
