I had a slightly embarrassing moment in town just now when I tried to run across the road between cars and two strides in remembered that I can’t run right now. I became ‘one of those’ people 🤣

@LucanonLizard I love ash too - probably my favourite tree. In a field here stood one of the three oldest ash in Britain, but unfortunately a combination of rot and storms took it down last year

@ExplorerJust That's an idea. I do love the Ash. We use it to keep the house warm. Coppiced you get fresh young bark very soon. Silky smooth. The trunk in the photo' must be about twenty.

A bit of Ash bark close up. Love having a wander about in the woods. Generally hoping I'll spot a deer. I usually just spot more work needing to be done.

One of the things that I’ve always done as part of my role with @Karrimorsf is support their network of retailers. ‘Memories’ in my phone reminded me of this feedback…

They do more than keep gear dry: compartmentalise kit, store wet clothes, flotation device, 'air' pillow, and even a 'jungle washing machine'!
