Eggs are a very good source of protein and the BJP needs to roll them out en mass via mid day meals.
I eat two boiled eggs everyday. It is a very cheap, accessible source of nutrition.

@Explorerwong @ShivamVahia Yeah, but a weak, protein-deficient population will be less hardy than one with a better nutrition in the event of a famine or some other natural phenomenon. I refuse to call it as a catastrophe.

@ShivamVahia I sincerely hope not. I eat eggs. But given India's overpopulation, anything that helps reduce it in self-induced (vs. External) ways is welcome. I hope eggs will continue to be taboo for many.

Teams chasing down 240-260 wt overs to spare is, for me at least, absurd

@IndianTintin_ How can chicken's period be veg? It is potential carrier of future chicken, hence considered chicken.
Also it is a waste product (when not fertilized), hence considered tamas, unlike milk which is nourishing food for calf.
So proper veg people and sattva sadhaks avoid it.

He is right. Nutritionally, Egg is a multivitamin pill. And biologically speaking, it is a chicken's period. Could be thought of as disgusting but certainly vegetarian. Vegetarians who eat eggs and dairy are referred to as Ovo-Lacto-Vegetarians. It is absolutely a kind of vegetarianism.

@KumarAdity665 @BaluGorade It's a decent AMC. Their Large cap fund was a superstar till about 1.5-2 years ago. Now underpeforming though overall still decent...

In money management, performance matters more than philosophy.
1] PPFAS became popular because of performance, not just philosophy. If performance slips, investors move fast.
2] Marcellus PMS gained AUM through strong marketing, but weak performance didn't sustain it.
3] Quantum Mutual Fund has a solid philosophy, but returns lagged, so AUM stayed small.
4] Quant Mutual Fund delivered strong returns from 2020-2024 and attracted big inflows. Now facing pressure.
5] Motilal Oswal saw strong performance in 2024-2025 and gained AUM. Now slowing.
Performance drives flows. Flows drive AUM.

@EgoEraser99 @moneyworks4u_fa Actually Native AI folks ( young startups) will have an edge. But they can't scale and don't have relationships with large enterprises. Old IT orgs with relationships which can buy these startups/partner with them effectively will win.

Nifty IT is down 27% from there. It broke the 200 WMA convincingly. The the meltdown after Feb caught us by surprise but we have caught every single turning point for Nifty IT in the past 4.5 yrs.
Back in 2022 I had suggest Nifty IT is going to be range bound for many years and that is how it has panned out.
Despite the prevailing bearishness I believe Nifty IT can make a new ATH sometime in the next 12-18 months. Whether its a start of new bull market or not we will know at that time.

Nifty IT has broken below its 200 DMA. I have an extreme bearish bias, but I feel we can see 200 WMA sometime in 2025 and it will break that also and that will mark multi-year bear market for IT sector. Its a permanent albatross around Nifty's neck.

For the sake of sanity of the young couple.
Don't even make the mistake of keeping all 4 parents in the same house. Atleast not in the beginning of marital life.

I’ve been through my share of bad phases, and if anything, they clarified me.
I realized I am, at my core, a deeply suspicious person. That instinct, cynical as it may sound, has protected me more than once. It has kept me from walking blindly into situations that would have cost me far more.
But alongside that, I noticed something else.
The people who helped me the most were often strangers. People who didn’t know me, had no stake in my life, nothing to gain, nothing to lose. And yes, I understand it is easier to be kind when you are not entangled, when there is no history, no baggage.
But that is precisely why it matters.
Because in those moments, it would have been just as easy, easier even, to look away, to remain indifferent, to choose convenience over compassion. And yet, they did not.
I do not overlook that.

About internaitonal funds, I wanted to buy a Nasdaq index fund but none of those were taking fresh subscriptions. Few were open but had restrictions of 2Lakh per month SIP or something like that which did not work out for me...
Only few were open for lump sum investment.
Finally invested in -
Axis Global Innovation Fund of Fund during Feb 2026
Along with the Nasdaq biggies like Nvidia, Google it also invests in companies like TSMC and ASML outside USA.
So far, very happy with the performance.
Lets see how it goes.

When it comes to Mutual Funds.
I did one change recently in beginning of 2026 -
Sold Nifty Index Fund
and Bought an International Fund

I could not have been happier.
The Index heavyweight are more or less low growth behemoths.. no point in wasting my time there.

Next change - Start selling PPFAS flexicap.
That fund has become too big and too defensive for my taste..
Will shift the money to existing midcap and international funds (if subscription is still allowed)

@stepbystep888 Global is not one big index. Multiple countries. While US is risky now. Europe still has decent potential ( india may still beat it, but good to have some exposure)..China, cautious optimism, HK/Taiwan.. can do well still

🚨📢This post is for everyone who was heavy on Indian equities and missed the Gold / Global Equities rally.
🟢What you should do, now?
My suggestion is to follow the strategy which you were following before. That is - stay Indian Equity heavy. Till the point, Indian Equities haven't done relatively better. Markets work in cycle, at some point in next 2-4 years, this phase will come, when Indian Equities have done better than Global markets. At that point, take a call - if you want to diversify (in Gold and Global Equities) or not.
🔴What you should not do, now?
Change your strategy just to chase returns and start investing heavily in Gold and Global Equities now may not the right way.

@FoolzWizdom Apart from Bhramin's event, I have never been served with puliyogare, Chitranna or Vangibath. Gowdru functions its always been rice bath/ghee rice if veg or chicken pulav in beegr oota.
