When you “own” your house, you don’t really “own” your house. Home ownership is really just graduating from leasing your house from a middleman to leasing it directly from the state (the true owner). Try making an improvement to your home without permission or try not paying your property taxes (your lease payment) and you will find out who really owns your home very quickly. Home ownership is a lie. It’s a lease with some of the benefits of ownership, but don’t confuse it with actual ownership. The dream of home ownership is really the dream of a life long lease from the state.

The Age of Time is a book about civilization.
How humans coordinate, create meaning, and carry it forward across generations. It explores consciousness and identity as consensus processes.
How the mind assembles continuity, and how societies do the same at scale. It traces the rise of mechanical time as a solution to coordination.
A system that allowed humanity to agree on sequence when we could no longer share place. It looks to architecture as memory. What past civilizations built, and what their creations reveal about how they thought in time. And it asks a deeper question:
What happens when our model of time changes? For centuries, time has shaped our perception of reality.
 We inherit it without question.
But the system we use compresses experience into an ever-narrowing present. The signs are everywhere: we build for disposal, optimize for return, and treat time as an input cost.   Bitcoin introduces something different.
A process that transforms perception through participation.
A clock that does not accelerate.
A system where order and value converge. It points toward a new civilizational relationship with time. theageoftime.com

Did you know the first set you perform of a given exercise is responsible for a higher % of muscular gains than any subsequent set? So when rushed for time, don't skip your workout. Do at least 1 high effort set per exercise. You can even build muscle this way, so don’t fall into the I don’t have time trap.

People spend 30-40 years working for a money they haven't studied or understood. Why not sit down and study the money you work for, for maybe 30-40 minutes? I pray for people to understand Bitcoin for their own good.

people aren’t ready to admit this but Saylor is the most important engineer to work on bitcoin since Satoshi, and the $STRC / $MSTR stack is the most important innovation in finance since bitcoin itself he solved what was arguably the most important unsolved problem in hyperbitcoinization, which was how do we shunt massive amounts of rule-bound legacy capital into bitcoin in a sustainable way and within the bounds of existing financial regulation

Inflation causes a systemic inability to realize value across time. One might call this systemic amnesia. #Bitcoin fixes this.

Do you remember when urgency become the default setting of your nervous system?

Your time being de-realized by a broken inflationary monetary system will do this. Your money is a melting ice cube, but so are you as the money user. Work itself doesn’t increase sense of urgency in your nervous system, working for a money that’s designed to de-realize your work increases the sense of urgency.
