Anyone that gets jealous over a fictional character needs a reality check, no excuses. You don't love your partner at that point. You love the attention they give. You'd settle for anyone. There is no other side to the argument. You are objectively and morally wrong. If someone is obsessed with a character, then it's not jealousy but an intervention and that's a whole different argument.

I am curious because I see huge debates on this. Are you okay with your partner liking/having a crush on fictional characters (books, movies, games, etc.), or is that a no-go when you are dating them?

Not sure if you're serious but that is extremely concerning behavior to still consider that guy's proposal. Do not ever isolate yourself. Do not ever give up control of your life. We all want that storybook life but this is highly suspicious. Marriage and kids for sake of it will not bring you happiness. This is one of those crossroads in your life where if you don't carefully navigate this with absolute certainty, it WILL become an unrecoverable disaster. The thing I absolutely despise most, is people throwing away their lives.

@meltymim Anything cooked is safe even after 12 hours really. Only restaurant food safety is strict like that. Ive never had food poisoning.
