hedge fund manager as a service this idea has been tried a bunch of times but never worked from first principles: the social status dopamine hit you get from saying "hey I run a successful fund" seems insane to me you can make a living by tokenizing some basket of investments and ppl can opt in based on your brand, reputation or just your results (which are clearly onchain) you likely have to add some limiting constraints to make it interesting like the manager being able to change asset selection only once per month and being limited to assets with at least like 10M in mcap or something launchpads for tokens clearly work to an extent, but launchpads for investment funds seem more interesting because the creator has an incentive for long term alignment (they'd have to put up their own funds) the counters are obviously adverse selection (anyone good enough to get returns here would just launch their own fund via serious investors and not onchain capital) and also transparency could kill edge since ppl can frontrun you — but these seem soluble with an ETF-like structure but probably the biggest issue is that capital in crypto is not passive and so there's a temperament mismatch the way to solve this imo is via some social/entertainment tie in pump already does this to an extent via livestreams and those streamers having tokens this would be a variation on that idea but one that has backing by real assets imo only a matter of time before someone creates a billion dollar business on this
