Why is real estate the best long-term wealth creating vehicle in the world? One word: taxes. One of the key reasons many investors are evaluating and committing to our upcoming Hillcrest Place deal before year-end is accelerated depreciation and the return of 100% bonus depreciation.   This creates meaningful tax advantages for both real estate professionals and non-real estate professionals. For real estate professionals, depreciation and paper losses can directly offset active income, which may significantly reduce your tax liability.
